Manohar Parrikar, India’s former Defense Minister and Goa’s current Chief-Minister, took his last breath on Sunday evening while fighting against pancreatic cancer. The mortal remains of this 4 time Goa assembly champion were brought in a flowered hearse to the Miramar beach.
Thousands of people were there to give their heartfelt condolence to the hero at the spot.
Manohar Parrikar was undoubtedly a charismatic personality. His loss is actually a loss to the Goa assembly which just lost its most humble jewel. While the senior Union Minister “Nitin Gadkari” has reported that the next Chief Minister has been decided, he also added that the other ministers are not happy with the choice.
No matter who the next Chief Minister is going to be, Manohar Parrikar ‘s absence will be long felt.

Manohar Parrikar ‘s battle with the pancreatic cancer
Manohar Parrikar ‘s health had been going through a lot of ups and downs since 2018. He was always seen with a pipe on his nose, both in the Goa assembly and public gatherings.
Manohar Parrikar’s illness was long fought until the hero gave up. But still, he gave it a tough fight. This is the only reason why he was Goa’s all-time favorite chief minister.
Goa Assembly ‘s fate for now
While the BJP is trying to come up with a new minister, Congress has also staked to form the government in the coastal area. Goa Assembly is still waiting for its new hero. Although, with Manohar Parrikar’s demise BJP’s grip over the Goa assembly has shattered into bits. It is being said that this can bring BJP at some backfoot in Goa.
But the future is always unsure. We can just hope for the best. so let’s not just drift into the politics and present our heartfelt condolences to our ‘Scooter Minister Parrikar’.
